The 2026 Jetour T2 RHD is the established five-seat version of Chery's square-shouldered T2 SUV, exported new (0 km) from China with right-hand drive. Buyers choose between two powertrains: the 1.5TD (135 kW / 184 hp, 290 N·m) with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox and front-wheel drive, or the 2.0TD (187 kW / 254 hp, 390 N·m) with an 8-speed automatic, on-demand 4WD and a rear differential lock. At 4,795 mm long with a 2,800 mm wheelbase it is easier to park than the extended model, which makes it a strong dealer-stock choice for Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Namibia and other markets with a mix of city and rough-road driving.
The 1.5TD front-wheel-drive version is the price-sensitive option. It keeps the T2's 220 mm ground clearance and 700 mm wading depth, uses less fuel (8.35 L/100 km WLTC against 9.58 L for the 2.0TD) and sits on 18-inch wheels with 235/65 tyres that are easier to source in many African markets.
The 2.0TD four-wheel-drive version is the one for gravel roads, game parks and towing. It adds the 8-speed automatic, on-demand 4WD with a locking rear differential, crawl and wading modes, a 1,600 kg braked towing rating and a higher equipment level (adaptive cruise, curtain airbags, heated and ventilated front seats). Many dealers order a mix of both to cover two price points from one container.
Data reflects the manufacturer's current published factory specification. Export RHD equipment can differ by batch and is confirmed in writing on your proforma invoice.
