Jetour T2 RHD export to Kenya

Kenya drives on the left, so the right-hand-drive Jetour T2 registers as a standard vehicle. Most of our Kenyan buyers ship to Mombasa and clear through their own agent, then move units to Nairobi showrooms or fleet yards.

What should you check before importing to Kenya?

  • Kenya runs a Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) programme through the Kenya Bureau of Standards. Confirm with KEBS whether your shipment needs a certificate of conformity before it leaves China.
  • Import duty, excise and VAT are assessed by the Kenya Revenue Authority. Your clearing agent can calculate them from the CIF value.
  • Registration is handled by the National Transport and Safety Authority after customs clearance.

Why the Jetour T2 suits Kenya

The T2's 220 mm ground clearance and 700 mm wading depth suit Kenya's mix of highway and murram roads, and the 2.0TD 4WD with rear diff lock is a natural fit for safari and lodge operators around the Mara and Amboseli. The seven-seat extended version adds capacity for tour and family use.
