Jetour T2 Price in Namibia: Full Cost Breakdown and Import Guide

The price you pay in Windhoek is more than the factory price. Here is every cost layer between China and your driveway, and where to check the official rates.

The landed price of a Jetour T2 in Namibia is built from six layers: the vehicle price in China, sea freight to Walvis Bay, marine insurance, import duties and VAT assessed by NamRA, port and clearing charges, and inland delivery. We quote the first three; the rest depend on Namibian rates and your agent. This article explains each layer so you can compare offers on a like-for-like basis.

Why we do not publish a single Namibia price

Vehicle prices move with configuration (1.5TD or 2.0TD, five or seven seats), order quantity, exchange rates and the shipping market. A fixed price on a web page would be wrong within weeks. Instead we send a dated quote for your exact order — usually the same working day.

How are duties calculated?

Namibia is a member of the Southern African Customs Union, and duties and VAT are administered by the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA). Duty is usually calculated on the customs value of the vehicle, and VAT is then applied on top. Engine size and vehicle category can affect the rate, so the 1.5TD and 2.0TD may not attract the same total. Ask your clearing agent to run both configurations before you decide.

Walvis Bay: what to expect at the port

Walvis Bay is operated by Namport and is a common gateway for vehicles going to Windhoek and on to Zambia and Botswana. Ro-Ro is common for larger batches; containers suit one or two units. See our Namibia market guide for routing notes.

Which Jetour T2 makes most sense in Namibia?

Long gravel roads and sand favour the 2.0TD 4WD with its rear differential lock, 220 mm clearance and 70 L tank. Rental companies serving self-drive tourists often prefer the seven-seat 2027 Jetour T2 RHD. For town use, the 1.5TD in the 2026 Jetour T2 RHD keeps both price and fuel use lower.

How to get an accurate Namibia quote

  1. Choose model year, engine and seats.
  2. Tell us the quantity and colours.
  3. Ask for CIF Walvis Bay.
  4. Send our quote to your clearing agent for a duty and clearing estimate.

Duty rates and rules change. Always confirm current figures with NamRA or a licensed clearing agent.
